John P. Young represents Hoosiers injured in collisions all over the state out of his Indianapolis law office. Mr. Young has been representing Hoosiers injured as a result of another’s negligence for more than 22 years. The firm, Young and Young, has been in business continuously for more than 56 years, since 1954. We represent only seriously injured Hoosiers. We have learned the medicine of healing traumatic injury from the finest doctors and nurses in the United States. Knowing the anatomy of the human body, how it works, and how it is repaired, is one of our strongest assets. It allows us to talk to the jury with confidence about how a serious injury happens, and how the doctors go about healing it. Finally it allows us to talk to the jury about why the body does not always heal the way we hope and how that affects our client’s ability to work and enjoy their lives.
As part of our effort to stay current with the developments of collision accidents, we are constantly talking to police officers and engineers about safety and collisions. Unfortunately collisions continue to happen. Tragedy struck in
Clinton County, IN (North of Indianapolis about 45 miles, Frankfort is the County Seat of Clinton County). Two collisions occurred within an hour of each other, resulting in the death of two Hoosiers. Otis Whitelow, 74 years young, was killed and his two granddaughters were injured when his car went off an embankment off Interstate 65. The grandchildren, ages 6 and 8, were taken to Riley Hospital in Indianapolis, and were listed in stable condition. We are so lucky to have two major children’s Hospitals in Indianapolis with superior care. Riley Hospital for Children is located at the Indiana University Medical Center, in Downtown Indianapolis. The Peyton Manning Hospital for Children is affiliated with St. Vincent Hospital and is located on the northwest side of Indianapolis near 86th Street and Naab Road.
In another crash in Clinton County, Jason Hall, only 22 years young, was killed when his car crossed the centerline of U.S. 421 and hit a pickup truck. It is not clear why Mr. Hall crossed the center line. There is no word on the condition of the driver of the pickup truck. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Whitelow and Hall families. We know how devastating these crashes can be.
