Indianapolis Auto Accident AttorneysThe importance of photographs to document injuries, vehicle damage and locations of injury can not be minimized when someone is injured in a serious car crash or suffers serious injuries in a fall or by  other means as a result of the negligence of another.

The saying that a picture is worth a thousand words is painfully self evident if a person is seriously injured by a drunk driver or overly tired truck driver.  A video or picture the other drivers appearance, gait or speech can be quite telling when taken at the scene, especially when months later they deny being intoxicated or overly tired.

Pictures of dangerous conditions on property at the time of the injury can also be crucial in showing why a person fell or was hurt. We see cases all the time where the at fault party denies any wrongdoing after the event. Pictures of untreated icy conditions or improperly stacked products that fell on the plaintiff taken at the scene can be the only light to expose the truth when after the fact excuses or denials are being made.

In this day and age of cell phones almost anyone  could become a valued ally to documenting the true set of facts at a scene where someone is injured.

If you are unfortunately injured or come upon a situation where someone is injured be sure to take some pictures to show just what happened. If you are a witness be sure to give your name and address to the injured person . Likewise if injured ,be sure to get the names and addresses of witness at the scene in case they are later needed to insure that the party at fault can not later escape responsibility for their actions.l_
